At Grace-the Church on the Mount we value children and families. The Children’s Ministry team of staff and volunteers do everything in our power to make sure that each child is cared for in every way possible. We want you as a parent to know that we want your child to have a great experience here at church that is geared to his individual age and interest. There are several components we are committed to in everything we do in Children’s Ministry:

Our volunteer teaching team is committed and uniquely qualified to effectively minister to each class. The curriculum we use was created by our own staff and is designed so that all ages are introduced to God’s love and transforming power in a way that is relevant to their age. We want all children who come through our doors to know the love of God, through Jesus Christ.

We do everything we can, from background checks, adherence to child/adult ratios, check-in procedures and the use of pagers, to ensure that every child is able to enjoy a safe experience while in our care.
»» FAMILY SUPPORT »»
We believe that the church exists to assist and empower the family in the spiritual formation of its children. We seek ways to aid families in that responsibility.

SUNDAY MORNINGS:
Every Sunday morning we offer a complete children’s program. We invite you to stop in and see what we are about!
»» 8:15 A.M: Nursery (Birth-24 months) | The Breakfast Room (Room 200)
The Breakfast Room (Room 200) ages 3-8+ Children are provided with a light breakfast followed by a bible-based video series and supporting activities.
»» 9:45 A.M »» A complete, age-appropriate class schedule is offered. The Preschool and Nursery are in the upstairs wing, and the Elementary classes are in the lower wing. Our “Club 56” class, designed especially for 5th and 6th graders is at 9:45 in room 100.
»» 11:15 A.M »» We have a complete class schedule at this service. The Preschool and Nursery are again in the upper wing. Children’s Church (K-6th grade) meets in the lower elementary wing.
SUMMER & SPECIALS
Children’s Ministries offers other activities and events through the summer and other times during the year. We have a Vacation Bible School and a variety of summer camps, like Sports Camp and Fine Arts Camp to keep kids happy through the summer. Check back for more details as summer approaches.
